Giant Trinity Advanced SL 2 Overview
The Giant Trinity Advanced SL 2 is a triathlon bike built around an Advanced SL-Grade Composite frameset for racing against the clock. The frame uses 12x142mm thru-axle disc construction, while the Advanced SL-Grade Composite fork uses a full-composite steerer and 12x100mm thru-axle. Compared to the previous generation Trinity, the frameset has 558g less weight.
AeroSystem Shaping Technology uses truncated ellipse tubing for a 5.9-watt aero advantage and a higher stiffness-to-weight ratio over the previous generation Trinity. The hydration reservoir, bottles, and bento box form an integrated fueling system designed around the bike’s aero profile. TT storage, hydration kit, and computer mount are included as part of the build.
The drivetrain uses SRAM Rival AXS components with SRAM eTap Clics mounted on the extensions and SRAM eTap Blips mounted on the basebar. The build includes a SRAM Rival AXS front derailleur, SRAM Rival AXS D2 rear derailleur, SRAM Rival 10×36 12-speed cassette, SRAM Force D1 chain, and SRAM Rival AXS 35/48 crankset with a Giant Power Halo power meter.
SRAM S-900 Aero hydraulic disc brakes use SRAM PaceLine X rotors with 160mm front and 140mm rear sizing. The wheel setup features a Giant SLR 2 50 WheelSystem with 40mm front and rear rims, Giant Low Friction hubs, Giant Aero Carbon Spokes, and CADEX Aero 700x25c tubeless folding tires.
